On April 9, 2026, POMOCA, PB Swiss Tools, and SWIZA announced a collaboration aimed at developing a new multitool pocket knife, coinciding with the Patrouille des Glaciers 2026. This innovative product is designed for technical applications in nature, making it suitable for both challenging alpine conditions and everyday tasks (source-1:p1).

The partnership represents a 100% Swiss collaboration, uniting three companies from different regions and complementary sectors, all sharing a common vision of Swiss Made: precision, functionality, durability, and practical innovation. Instead of working independently, the partners have pooled their expertise: SWIZA, based in Delemont, handles the development, design, construction, and assembly of the multitool, while the toolmaker, located in Wasen, contributes its recognized know-how in multifunctional tools and precision bits. POMOCA, situated in Chavornay, brings practical experience and a deep understanding of the needs of ski tourers and alpine athletes (source-1:p2).

The outcome of this collaboration is a pocket knife featuring an integrated bit holder and four interchangeable precision bits, allowing for quick adjustments and repairs during outdoor activities throughout the year, as well as in daily life. The compact and versatile design ensures users can tackle various situations without compromising on precision or durability (source-1:p3).

Developed, produced, and assembled in Switzerland, this multitool embodies a commitment to quality, longevity, and practical utility. Technical features include a bit holder made from high-density polymer, designed for torque exceeding 10 Nm, and a newly developed stainless steel rivet that enhances structural stability and power transfer. The precision bits, identifiable by their color coding with plasma coating, ensure quick identification and a precise fit for different screw types. Additionally, the bit holder incorporates recycled plastic from the Tide Initiative, demonstrating a holistic industrial approach without compromising technical performance (source-1:p4).

Josep Castellet, CEO of POMOCA, emphasized the tool's utility for on-site repairs of bindings and shoes in mountainous conditions, while Marco Baumann, CEO of the toolmaker, highlighted the added value for customers in demanding applications.
